2011 MAP OPEN

4th & 5th June

Venue:
Dodwell Farm, B439 Evesham Road, Stratford on Avon, CV37 9SY (please do not travel through the village of nearby Binton)

Tires:
You do NOT need to run 60 shore tires at the 2011 MAP Open. Come along and use your old 2010 spec tires up!

Transport to Stratford-upon-Avon:

As in previous years the MAP will provide a free minibus service running from Dodwell Raceway to the center of Stratford-upon-Avon, allowing visitors to take advantage of the wide variety of pubs, restaurants, clubs, shops, and tourist attractions in the town.

Times will be announced closer to the event, but we expect to run from midday to midnight on both Friday and Saturday.

Race Format :

MAP Are pleased to announce a change to the established race format!

In 2011 in addition to the usual 3 heats, plus finals, all classes with more than 17 signed on drivers, Semi-Finals will be run. This change keeps the MAP Open in line with all MAP race meetings, where "B" finals will be run for all classes with more than 2 full grids of cars.

Free Entry for all Junior Drivers:

The MAP Open has always incorporated the British Junior Championships, and this year to encourage the entry for this prestigious title, all Junior drivers will be given free entry!

Drivers will pay at the gate, and when they have successfully scrutineered, they will receive their entry fee back at signing on.

Big Screen on Saturday Night:

New for 2011 we will have a big screen on site on Saturday night showing racing hi-lights from past years MAP open. Bring your chairs, and drinks and watch the racing with your friends while enjoying the excellent on site catering.
