2009 BAS INFO

Evesham Autograss Club are proud to be presenting the first BAS round of 2009
and we welcome all drivers and spectators.
As a sign of our appreciation to difficult times and the distance some have to travel we would like to offer all drivers from the Irish and Central Scotland clubs a refund on their entrance fee when they sign on to race at our BAS round!!

Urgent Information to all those attending the Evesham BAS 2009…

Due to the enforcement of camping regulations and the threat of losing any form of camping at NASA race meetings Evesham Autograss Club have been forced to implement some major changes to the way the camping field is laid out and operates.

• On arrival to the field any person who is not a member of NASA will need to complete a form before continuing through the gate.

• You will then be sited by an official depending on your vehicle, your camping requirements and whether you have a car to unload. You must stay in the location allocated to you and it will not be possible to save spaces for friends, this may mean that you will not be able to camp by or near to the people you want to. If you want to camp with someone it may help if you arrive with them. Sorry but this is beyond our control and regret that this will affect the social side of the event.

• Evesham Club have had to employ security attendants to deal with this issue who will be working 24/7 and who will be ensuring these regulations are adhered to. Persons being abusive, aggressive and/or ignoring the officials will be asked to leave the field.

• It is obviously going to have a huge impact on our sport and the way things are done so we would kindly ask you to please cooperate and not make this job any harder than it appears it is going to be ! We need the co-operation and assistance of everybody to protect this meeting and the future of the sport.

• Further information and requirements can be found on http://nasa.phpbb3now.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=85 and viewtopic.php?f=1&t=186 . Please take the time to read these.

Please also take a look at our website for further information http://www.eveshamautograss.com/pages/drivers.htm

On a lighter note… please remember that all Central Scotland and Irish drivers get a refund on their gate fee (not camping fee) when they sign on.
There will also be a complimentary minibus travelling to and from Stratford town centre on Saturday evening.

The track is looking superb and the foreforecast is good so we look forward to welcoming all visitors to the first BAS round of 2009 and the best of luck to all competitors !
